Meet Our Staff
Esteban Espinal
Squash Urbano Colombia, SEA’s international affiliate program which launched in 2014 in Cartagena. From 2009 to 2014, Esteban was the Squash Director at City Squash in the Bronx. Previously, Esteban coached at a squash club outside of New York City. Esteban graduated from Los Andes University in Bogotá.
Samuel Martínez Villera
Samuel is a SUC alumni from the inaugural class of 2014. With his team, Samuel traveled to Malaysia and the USA to compete in tournaments. Samuel is a full time squash coach with musical ambitions. He plans to study Physical Education in the future.
Hank Judson Hendrix
Hank Hendrix joined Squash Urbano Colombia in June 2025 as the Director of English and Culture in Medellín. Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, he previously worked as a music teacher for five years and holds a degree in Music Education from Loyola University New Orleans as well as a TEFL certification. He now leads English and cultural programming for students in Medellín.
Jhonatan Correa Diaz
Jhonatan is a professional squash coach and currently serves as the squash coach for Squash Urbano Colombia in Medellín. With more than 15 years of national and international experience in athlete development and training, he has worked at prominent clubs in Colombia and Peru, supporting both athletic and competitive development processes with high-performance athletes. He is known for his discipline, commitment, and passion both on and off the court.
Andres Gonzalez
Andres is a former squash professional from Medellin Colombia and played for the Antioquia team at a National level
Before joining the SUC team Andres was the Squash Director of the Club Campestre of Medellin.
Andres is also the assistant coach for the Colombina Jr Team
Nolvin López Ortega
Nolvin holds a diploma in Tecnología en Sistemas from Universidad Tecnológica de Bolivar in Cartagena, and a Bachelor’s degree in Bilingual Education English-Spanish from Institución Universitaria Colombo Americana (ÚNICA) in Bogotá. He has been teaching English at SUC for 4 years, and he is currently our Program Director.
Ana Maria Giraldo
Ana Maria is and alumni from SUC
Ana played at national level and was part of the team that wond the gold medal in the Gu23 South America championship in 2021
Currently Ana is in her last semester at Universidad San Buenaventura in Cartagena pursuing a degree in Physical Education
